Does any one know anything about the electrical working of the radio and what i might of disconnected? Or maybe some where i can find the electrical layout of the vehicle?
I have a 96 jeep grand Cherokee and i have recently changed the starter and now the radio will not power up?
Check your fuses. Did you disconnect the battery when you worked on the starter? If not you could have blown a fuse.

You might need to check the fuse box. Sometimes when the alternator goes out it will trip and burn some fuses. Do you have any power coming from the electrical box to the radio?
Your owners manual should have the layout of what fuses and relays go to your radio. Check that out and see what it gives you. Good luck!
I'm betting you changed the starter yourself and did not disconnect the battery and blew a fuse.
