How do you change a starter in the lexus ls400 1990?

I think you don't have to do it under the car. You have to take out the intake manifold to get to the starter. Don't forget to have the new throttle body and intake manifold gasket with you. It's gonna be lots of work.

i own a repair shop,and you need to get it on a pair of jack stands and make sure its safe to get under,it comes off from under neath the car,,you,ll see it down there,,be sure and remove the battery cable before you start taking it off,there are a few bolts that hold it on,and remove the cable from it,,be care full and watch how you took the wires off of it,and put it back on the same way,,its not to bad of a job to do,,good luck i hope this help,s.
