Have a 96 sierra 2500 It starts fine cold but after it warms up if I shut it off & try to start it, it won't?

It's like it had a dead spot in the starter. Changed starter, crankshaft sensor, alternator %26amp; batteries are new as well. Put it on a code reader came up empty. Any ideas where else to turn?

the starter could be getting too hot.

thermostat? that may be a safety switch so that the engine wont over heat.
