I have changed the starter and it has a new battery. The red cable from the battery seems tio be in good condition.

It could be your ignition switch or neutral safety switch.

Could be those switches, but I have that issue on my blazer, pretty sure the gear is worn and catching on the flywheel when getting pushed into place... It also may have a loose bolt on the starter, however unlikely that may be.
