What are the steps to changing a starter on a 98' mitsubishi galant?

We can%26#039;t seem to get to one of the bolts that are holding the starter on. What would be the most effeciant way, from the top or bottom of the car? Also, do we need to remove any other parts to get to the starter?|||My neighbor had this exact problem, he went underneath, but I can%26#039;t tell you what else needed to come off. PIA
