Changing starter earring with new pair?

i just got my ears pierced a week ago. i have a party friday night, can i put my new earrings in just for a couple of hours then change them when i get home?|||no. You definately should not. Even taking them out to put new ones in would be awful. They might close.|||noooooooooooo. if u just got ur ear%26#039;s pierced i suggest u to keep it on because bacteria will may get in.|||DONT TRY IT!!! I just recently had my ears pierced for the 5th time! I did that once and when i got home, the earing couldnt go into the hole at all, they close up sooo fast and the minimum time to wait before even considering taking them out is 4 wks
